System Administrator (Hamburg)
In order to deliver their offer to a rapidly growing client base, the company is looking for a system administrator to participate in developing and defining the scalability of their service. Thus improving the efficiency of their systems and their monitoring capabilities.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Developing a scalability strategy
• Consolidate processes and smoothing their edges
• Involvement in product development
• Support of our backend department
• Load balancing
• Network management
YOUR PROFILE:
• A relevant college degree or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in managing servers in the Amazon cloud
• Expert in Linux, MySQL replication, Apache, backup management
• Strong in Rails fundamentals (routing, active record, migrations, modules, bundles)
• Experience in deploying Rails applications, we ask you to provide links to prove it.
• Experience with automated tests and continuous integration environments
• Proficient in scripting
• Easy and accurate communication in English
• Show initiative, creativity and innovation
