The Company is looking for Technical Manager for some of the biggest Ruby projects in Europe.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage a team of highly skilled Ruby on Rails developers
• Take lead on software architecture, infrastructure and prioritize features
• Give code feedback, support product managers and interview candidates
• Independently develop and implement new features for domains visited by hundreds of thousands
users
• Propose, develop and implement new functional design solutions
• Proactively contribute to a highly agile test driven development process with daily releases and weekly
deploys
• Visit conferences and join meet-ups
YOUR PROFILE
• At least 5 years of experience with either open source projects, start ups or in a software company
• Hands on experience on at least 3 Rails projects and led a team of coders before
• Educational background in computer science, software engineering or similar
• Experience in working with data- and test-driven processes
• You are team result focused and take responsibility
• Long term thinking for team and coding
• Challenge product decisions
• Strong opinion and vision, aiming for a well designed code base (e.g. REST)
• Fluent English written and oral
